American hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd are about to make waves in the UK hot on the heels of their success in the US, where they recently won Best Group at the BET Awards and were among nominees for Best Rap Artist at the Billboard Music Awards.

The two-piece, consisting of brothers Khalif 'Swae Lee' and Aaquil 'Slim Jimmy' Brown, released their debut album SremmLife in January 2015 and have already recorded with the likes of Wiz Khalifa and Nicki Minaj. The duo - who got their name from their US record label, EarDrummers, spelt backwards – are now working on their second album and have a hotly anticipated performance this side of the Atlantic, at the Electric Brixton, later this year.
